Should you stay in Canggu or Pererenan?
Choose Canggu if you want activity around you — surfing, cafés, restaurants, beach clubs and a social atmosphere. Is Seminyak a good place to stay in Bali?
Yes, particularly if convenience matters to you. Seminyak combines restaurants, shopping, nightlife and beach access in a way that keeps the holiday from revolving around long drives. It suits first-time visitors, couples, groups of friends, food-focused travellers and anyone who wants nightlife nearby.

How many days do you need in Bali?
For a first trip, seven to ten days gives you enough time to experience more than one side of the island without turning the holiday into a daily packing exercise. A workable structure:

- 3–4 nights Canggu or Pererenan — food, beach and social life
- 2–3 nights Uluwatu — beaches, sunsets and villa time
